.M26 "Pershing" (Eng. M26 Pershing) - American medium tank of 1944-1969 (in 1944-1946 in the US Army, the M26 was temporarily classified as heavy). Named after General John Pershing, who led the American Expeditionary Force during World War I. From February 1945, Pershing tanks took part in World War II; in 1950-1951 they participated in the Korean War.
