KV-2 - Soviet heavy tank of the interwar period and the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. The first prototypes of this machine were created in 1940, and in the same year the machine entered service. During the production process, about 330 machines of this type were built. The combat weight of the tank was up to 52 tons. The drive was provided by one diesel engine with a power of up to 600 hp. The main armament consisted of a 152 mm M-10 cannon and three 7.62 mm DT machine guns.
