The T-54B is a Soviet medium tank, a modification of the T-54 family, adopted for service in 1956. It was developed in 1956 and mass-produced in 1957-1959 at factories in Nizhny Tagil, Kharkov and Omsk. The tank differed from previous models by installing a two-plane weapon stabilizer, a gunner's night sight and a commander's night vision device.
