Dimensions of the finished model: Length 172.2 mm; Width 73.6 mm.
The park of armored vehicles of general purpose (AVGP) consists of three variants: Cougar, Grizzly and Husky.
Initially, 195 Cougars were purchased to equip regular and reserve armored personnel carriers.
After the acquisition of Coyote as part of the Army Equipment Rationalization Plan in 1999, the Cougar fleet was reduced to 100 vehicles, which will be used exclusively by armored reserve units.
AVGP is currently undergoing a service life extension program to increase its reliability, serviceability and uniformity with the Bison and Coyote fleet.
