The AEC armored car was a British heavy armored car of World War II. The first prototypes were created immediately after the start of the war, and mass production continued in the period 1942-1943. A total of 629 copies of this machine were built. The AEC armored car was powered by an AEC 195 or AEC 197 engine with 105 or 158 hp. respectively. The basic version of the vehicle was armed with one 40 mm 2-pounder cannon, one Besa 7.92 mm machine gun and one Bren 7.7 mm machine gun.
