The JACAM Unimog Special Forces of the Belgian Army is equipped with a circular ring mounted in the rear of the crew, which can be armed with a 12.7 mm machine gun. At the front, the commander's seat is equipped with a swivel mount for a 7.62 or 5.56 mm machine gun with a buffer mount for weapons, and two more at each corner at the rear of the vehicle. The roof of the standard Unimog cab is removed and replaced by a robust tubular rollover protection system integrated into the vehicle chassis. The front part of the cabin is equipped with two folding windshields, with bulletproof windows.
