Yamaha YZR-M1 is a racing motorcycle with a four-stroke engine, developed by Yamaha Motor Company for participation in the MotoGP series. It became the successor to the YZR500 model. It has been produced since 2002. Initially developed with an engine with a volume of 990 cm3, it was also produced in modifications with a volume of 800 cm3 and 1000 cm3.
