Dornier Do 215 (German: Dornier Do 215) is a German twin-engine all-metal aircraft developed by Dornier, which was produced on the basis of the Do 17 for export, however, it operated mainly as part of the Luftwaffe as a light bomber, reconnaissance aircraft and later a night fighter during World War II. In 1939-1940, about 500 Do 17Z-1 and Do 17Z-2 bombers were produced. They participated in all Luftwaffe operations from 1939 to 1941. These aircraft were also transferred to Finland.
