In the first year of the Second World War, tanks that were out of order were often used in the construction of armored trains. So, for example, on the basis of the T-28 tank, the Bepo "Fascist Fighter" (1 armored platform) and "Dzerzhinets" (4 armored platforms) were built. A hull with three tank turrets was installed on a biaxial platform, and the outside was scalded with sheets of non-hardened 30mm armor. The armament of such an armored platform consisted of a 76 mm cannon (KT-28), and DT machine guns (4 in the turrets and 2 in the sides of the hull). The crew of such an armored platform consisted of 12-15 fighters.
