The T-68 is a prototype American Cold War flamethrower tank. Two prototypes of this machine were built in 1953 and in the same year they passed field tests, but did not justify the hopes placed on them and did not go into mass production. It turned out that the biggest disadvantage was the placement of the main gun in the front of the tank, and not in a rotating turret. The vehicles were created by adapting M4 Sherman vehicle hulls with HVSS suspension to the Canadian E-33 flamethrower.
