40M/41M Turan - Hungarian medium tank. Its design was based on the prototype of a Czech medium tank created by Skoda. The 40M Turan I, armed with a 40 mm cannon, was produced from 1941 to 1943, with a total of 285 tanks built. Production of the modernized version (with a 75 mm gun) - 41M Turan II - began in 1943. Before the Soviet invasion of Hungary, 139 of these machines were manufactured. The 43M Turan III was a prototype tank, armed with a long-barreled 75 mm cannon and equipped with side screens from the very beginning. Only one Turan III tank was built.
