Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) Ausf.E/F is a light tank that was developed on the basis of the Czechoslovak tank LT vz.38 and was produced after the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the German Wehrmacht, becoming one of the best light tanks of that time. It was equipped with a 37-mm cannon and two machine guns. The chassis of these tanks was so reliable that it was used to create a variety of German self-propelled artillery mounts, such as the Marder III, Grille, and Hetzer, indicating the significant influence of this design on German armored vehicles.
