The T-10 is a Soviet Cold War heavy tank, the final development of the KV and IS tank series. It was put into production in 1952 as the IS-10, but due to the political situation after Stalin's death in 1953 it was renamed T-10. The main armament was a 122 mm D-25TA cannon and 250 mm front armor. From now on, multiple modernizations have been carried out. In 1957, the final type was the T-10M, an improved variant with a longer M-62-T2 L/43 cannon with a five-barrel muzzle brake, machine guns replaced by 14.5 mm KPVT, infrared night vision equipment, protection against weapons of mass destruction.
