The AMX-13 DCA is based on the AMX-13 chassis and features a large twin turret armed with two 30mm autocannons mounted side-by-side at the front of the turret. The engine and transmission are located at the front, the driver sits on the left side of the body. Armament consists of two powerful 30-mm HS-831A automatic guns. Cannons can be fired semi-automatically or in bursts of 5 to 15 shots. The cyclic rate of fire is 650 rpm per barrel. The maximum effective range is 3 km, the slope is 5 km. Only 60 pieces were produced.
