The M1117 Guardian Armored Security Vehicle is an armored personnel carrier manufactured by Textron Marine & Land Systems for use by the US Army Military Police Corps. The armament consists of a Mk 19 grenade launcher and an M2HB Browning machine gun, which are mounted on the turret as on the US Marine Corps Amphibious Assault Vehicle vehicles; and an M240H machine gun is mounted outside near the gunner's hatch. The vehicle was used by the US Military Police, as well as to protect convoys in Iraq and Afghanistan.
