M1117 is a modern American armored fighting vehicle. The first prototypes were made in 1997, and mass production began in 1999 and continues to this day. Drive is provided by a single Cummins 6CTA8.3 260 hp engine. The armament of the vehicle consists of one 40 mm Mk.19 automatic grenade launcher and two machine guns of 12.7 and 7.62 mm caliber.
