The PzKpfw III (Panzerkampfwagen III) was a German medium tank from World War II. The first prototypes of the machine were made in 1936, and mass production continued in the period 1937-1943, completing the production of about 5800 machines. The tank in the E version was equipped with one Maybach HL 120 TRM engine with an HP 300 power. It was armed with one 37 mm KwK 35/36 cannon and two 7.92 mm MG 34 machine guns.
