The M106 Mortar Carrier is an American Cold War self-propelled mortar. The first prototypes of this car were built in the early 1960s, and the car (version A1) went into production in 1964. The car was powered by a single 6-cylinder Detroit Diesel 6V53T engine with 210 hp. The total length of the wagon was 4.9 meters and a width of 2.7 meters. The curb weight reached 11.7 tons. In the M106A1 variant, the vehicle was armed with a 107 mm mortar and one 12.7 mm M2 machine gun.
