The Jagdtiger was a German heavy tank destroyer from World War II. The first prototypes of the machine were made in 1943, and mass production continued in the period 1944-1945, ending with the release of only 88 machines. The Jagdtiger was powered by a single-cylinder Maybach HL 230 P30 engine with 700 horsepower. Its main armament was a powerful 128 mm PaK 44 L/55 cannon and one 7.92 mm MG34 or MG 42 machine gun.
