In April 1944, the GKO decided to create and mass-produce a tractor based on the T-34-76 tank.
According to this order, the production of tractors based on the T-34 tank was to be established at tank repair plants in the amount of 50 units per month.
For the production of tractors, it was required to use the T-34 tanks coming in for overhaul with turrets and weapons unsuitable for restoration.
