Marder III (Sd. Kfz. 138 or 139) is a lightweight German anti-tank self-propelled gun of the Second World War. It was a lightly armored self-propelled gun on the chassis of the Pz Kpfw 38 (t) light tank. The gun was installed in an open cockpit.
These machines were actively used on all fronts of the Second World War. Most of them were used on the Eastern Front.
