AMX-13 is a French light tank. Developed in 1946-1949 and, repeatedly modernized, it was mass-produced in France from 1952 to 1964, and under license in Argentina at the Astarsa enterprise in 1968-1985. It was distinguished by an unusual design using the so-called "rocking tower". Such a tower was designed specifically in order to introduce mechanized loading of the gun, like a semi-automatic. On both sides of the turret niche, behind the breech of the gun, there are two drum-type magazines with 6 shells each. The recoil force rotates the magazine and releases the next projectile, which rolls onto the tray, the axis of which coincides with the axis of the cannon bore.
