FV432 - British armored personnel carrier of the 1960s. It was created in the late 1950s as part of the development of the FV430 . Serial production of the FV432 lasted from 1962 to 1971, in total about 3,000 armored personnel carriers of this type were produced, not counting other vehicles of the family. It was the main armored personnel carrier of the British Army in the 1960s and 1970s, since the 1980s it has been mainly replaced by more modern vehicles, such as the Warrior BMP, but a number of them, as of 2008, are still in service. The FV432 was exported to a limited extent, only after the start of its decommissioning in the UK, India received a number of vehicles.
