GT-MU - Soviet tracked armored personnel carrier during the Cold War. The car was put into serial production in 1971. The car had a length of 5.146 meters with a width of 2.47 meters. Its weight reached 5.8 tons.
The drive was provided by a single GAZ-73 engine with a power of up to 85 hp. The maximum speed on the road was about 55 km/h.
GT-MU was developed primarily for the needs of the Soviet airborne troops, which in the late 1960s sought to obtain a light and highly mobile armored personnel carrier, as well as a de facto tracked transport vehicle.
