The Infantry Tank Mk.III "Valentine" (eng. Infantry Tank Mk.III "Valentine") is a British infantry tank of the Second World War period, light in weight. Designed in 1938 by Vickers-Armstrongs.
During serial production, from June 1940 to April 1944 (according to some sources, before the beginning of 1945), 8275 Valentines were produced by Great Britain and Canada, which made it the most numerous British tank of World War II.
It was in service with Great Britain and a number of countries of the British Commonwealth, and was also supplied in significant quantities under the Lend-Lease program to the USSR.
