Armored repair and evacuation vehicle 1 (BREM-1, "Object 608") - designed for the evacuation of stuck and damaged equipment (APCs, BMPs, BMDs, tanks, etc.), including from enemy fire. Provides the necessary repair and maintenance in the field. Created on the basis of the chassis of the T-72 main tank. Adopted for service in 1975.
It was intended for units armed with T-64, T-72, T-80 tanks and their modifications.
