Description
"Bergepantera" (German: Bergepanther), full designation: "Panther" armored repair and evacuation vehicle (German: Bergepanzerwagen Panther) is a German armored repair and evacuation vehicle (BREM) of the Second World War. According to the German departmental system, the machine designated as military equipment bore the index Sd.Kfz.179. It was created in March-June 1943 on the chassis of the Pz.Kpfw.V "Panther" medium tank and was intended for the evacuation of heavy armored vehicles, such as the "Panther" and the "Tiger" itself.
