British Light Utility Car 10HP - Tilly (from 'Utility') is the name of a range of British military vehicles produced during the Second World War based on civilian cars and used by all armed forces in most theaters of that conflict. The chassis is the same size as the Austin 10 sedan and uses a "platform" design, which is the result of welding a pressed steel floor to the frame, providing great diagonal stiffness. But the military vehicle had a more powerful engine, added an additional water pump, as well as a larger fuel tank and used "cross" tires. About 30,000 cars were produced.
