Description
German artillery tractor. The Krupp L2H143 was one of the most famous German machines of World War II. This successful 1.5-ton 3-axle (6×4) truck was produced from 1930 to 1942. It had an original design: a 4-cylinder, air-cooled, in-line engine, a supporting frame, and a bogie suspension.
In the German Wehrmacht, Krupp L2H143s were used mainly as light gun tractors (Kfz.69) for Pak 36 anti-tank guns, and also as personnel carriers (Kfz.70). The 3.7cm Pak 36 was the main German anti-tank gun until late 1941.
