German artillery tractor. Krupp L2H143 was one of the most famous German vehicles of World War II. This successful 1.5-ton 3-spring (6×4) truck was produced from 1930 to 1942. It had an original design: 4-cylinder air-cooled boxer engine, support frame, bogie suspension.
In the German Wehrmacht, the Krupp L2H143 was used primarily as a light gun tractor (Kfz.69) for the Pak 36 anti-tank gun, and as a personnel carrier (Kfz.70). The 3.7cm Pak 36 was the main German anti-tank gun until the end of 1941.
