The army two-axle vehicle with increased cross-country ability G7107 was launched into production by General Motors in the fall of 1941. It was a four-wheel drive vehicle with a carrying capacity of 1.5 tons with a metal cabin and a wooden or metal body. Most of these vehicles were sent during World War II as military aid to the Allies, these deliveries began in 1942. The Red Army received about 47,000 of these vehicles, they were used both in combat units and in the rear. Some of them were captured during the fighting and used to transport cargo and personnel of the Wehrmacht units.
