Prefab car model G7117 with Soviet drivers from the Second World War

Chevrolet trucks were among the equipment that arrived in the USSR from
USA during World War II (as part of Lend-Lease supplies).
Their deliveries began in 1942. These trucks had a carrying capacity of 1.5 tons
and were used in combat units and in the rear. They are used to it
transport infantry, such as artillery trucks, sanitary vehicles, mobile workshops,
for the delivery of ammunition, etc. In addition to the basic version, the army also used the G7117 model, which was distinguished by a winch in the front part of the chassis. Reliable and easy to operate, maneuverable and with good cross-country ability, these trucks were loved and respected by the soldiers. After the war, they continued to serve in the Soviet Army until the mid-1950s.
