The Sd.Kfz 10 Demag D7 half-track was used in large numbers by German forces during World War II on all major fronts from the invasion of Poland, to North Africa and to Russia. It was designed and developed as an effective tractor for small towed artillery, as well as anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns. The Demag D7 could carry eight fully equipped soldiers, as well as tow a gun or trailer. The 4.2-liter 6-cylinder Maybach engine, located at the front of the car, could produce 99 hp. Thanks to the engine, the half-track vehicle could reach a maximum speed of 65 km/h and had good on-road and off-road performance.
