Puma is a family of Italian light wheeled armored combat vehicles, which includes the Puma 6×6 and Puma 4×4. The vehicles were designed and manufactured by the Iveco Fiat — OTO Melara consortium for the Italian ground forces. The first prototypes were produced in 1988, and by 1990 five experimental vehicles were produced.
The 4x4 variant can carry 3 soldiers and a driver, the 6×6 variant can carry 6 soldiers and a driver.
