Special fire hose truck AR-2 (43105) is designed for mechanized laying of fire hose lines from the fire site. Car production started in 1989. The vehicle was based on the KAMAZ-43105 all-terrain vehicle, which has proven itself well. An all-metal body with side and rear doors is installed on a specially prepared chassis. Inside, the body is divided into two compartments, fire equipment is placed in the front, and fire hoses are in the back. The body also has special racks that can form sections of different sizes.
The vehicle crew consists of a driver and two operators, the first of whom is responsible for managing the mechanism for folding fire hoses, and the second monitors the stacking of the hoses and controls their placement in the body after use. The length of such a sleeve line can be more than 2.5 kilometers. Some of these vehicles are still in use at fire stations.
