Plastic model of the Soviet tank destroyer SU-D15 in 1/72 scale, Unimodels 532.
The kit includes:
3 sprues with details,
top and bottom body,
tower and caterpillars,
decal,
scheme for painting the model,
step-by-step instruction.
Model length: 110 mm.
The first machine, which received the SU-D25 index, was developed on the instructions of the Self-Propelled Artillery Directorate, the second - SU-D15 - at the initiative of Uralmashzavod. Both installations, in comparison with the serial SU-85, slightly increased the mass, but increased armor penetration by 30% and 28%, respectively. After reviewing these projects, the NKTP recognized that 122 and 152 mm caliber guns could overload a medium self-propelled gun and impair its maneuverability, so the production of Uralmash prototypes was not allowed.
