Sd.Kfz. 165 "Hummel" is a German heavy 150-mm assault gun of the Second World War. Sd.Kfz. 165 was developed by specialists from Alkett in 1943 on the chassis of a special tracked vehicle GW III / IV. This vehicle was the last heavy self-propelled gun developed by Alkett. In total, from 1943 to 1945, about seven hundred Hummel self-propelled guns were produced. This 150-mm self-propelled gun was a powerful and effective weapon. The self-propelled gun was capable of hitting any target, so the demand for it was very high. But the industry could not fully satisfy all the needs of the army.
