In 1972, a prototype of the 155-mm self-propelled howitzer GCT (Grande Cadence de Tir) was developed. In 1979, the system was adopted by the French army under the designation 155 AUF1. Modernization in 1988. Instead of an auxiliary gasoline engine, a gas turbine with a capacity of 10.5 kW was installed. Improved loading system. Released 97 units.
