Assembly model 1/12 Formula-1 Renault RE20 Turbo Italeri 4707
In 1977, French car manufacturer Renault debuted in the Formula One World Championship with its own team, which brought important innovations to the world of racing. Renault entered the World Championship in the 1980 season with the RE20 model, powered by a Renault Gordini EF1 turbocharged V6 engine capable of producing 520 horsepower. The whole team was entirely French, as were the drivers: Jean-Pierre Jabouille in the number 15 and René Arnoux in the number 16. During the season, the team scored three Grand Prix victories in Brazil, South Africa and Austria. The Renault 20 Series was modified and improved and competed in the first five races of the 1981 season when it was replaced by the 30 Series with a redesigned chassis.
