"Bismarck" is a battleship of the German naval forces of the Third Reich, one of the most powerful and famous warships of World War II. The first ship of the "Bismarck" class, named after German Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. Built at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in February 1939.
Known for his solo campaign across the North Atlantic, during which he sank several British ships, including sinking the pride of the British fleet at the time - the battlecruiser Hood in the Denmark Strait in May 1941. By personal order of Winston Churchill, the Bismarck was hunted down by the best forces of the British fleet: it was sunk on May 27, 1941 in the Atlantic Ocean.
