The MiG-3 is a Soviet high-altitude single-seat fighter of World War II, developed at the Mikoyan and Gurevich Design Bureau in late 1940, which was used as a high-speed interceptor for air defense of cities, in particular Moscow and Leningrad. It was equipped with an AM-35A engine and had armament that included machine guns, and later - bombs or rockets.
