MiG-25 (NATO reporting name: Foxbat) is a Soviet high-altitude fighter-interceptor, the world's first serial fighter to reach speeds of over 3000 km/h. In the MiG-25R version, it is capable of performing reconnaissance missions.
The MiG-31 aircraft was a further development of the project.
