Description
The first seaplane Bombardier 415 took off on December 6, 1993. In December 1994, the first ordered car was handed over to France. It can be used to perform search and rescue operations, deliver rescue teams and special equipment to disaster areas. The aircraft is capable of taking off both from the ground and from the water surface. Bombardier 415 is successfully used in countries where forests are located on hills near the sea coast or large bodies of water. In addition to water tanks, the aircraft has tanks for concentrated fire-fighting foam, as well as a water-foam mixing system. A fire-fighting aircraft can be converted into a transport aircraft. Even in the fire-fighting version, the Bombardier 415 is capable of carrying up to eight passengers, and after the conversion, the passenger capacity increases to 30 people.
