A-26 Invader is an American short-range bomber, attack aircraft. It made its first flight on July 10, 1942. In total, about 2,500 cars were built.
In 1948-1966, it was designated B-26, which sometimes leads to confusion with the B-26 Marauder bomber of the same designation and similar purpose, which was withdrawn from service at that time.
