The F-4G Wild Weasel was a United States Air Force Special Air Defense Suppression (SEAD) aircraft converted from the F-4E. This aircraft first took to the air in 1975 and entered service with the US Air Force in 1978. The F-4G could suppress enemy air defense systems, as well as jam and attack enemy air defense radars. It also had outstanding maneuverability and could perform a variety of tasks by changing weapon magazines. During the 1991 Gulf War, the F-4G was the US Air Force's only available SEAD aircraft.
