Yak-9T
Soviet WW2 fighter

Vinishuvach Yak-9T was one of the modifications of the Yak-9 aircraft. Its main feature was the automatic harmata NS-37 with a caliber of 37 mm. The installation of this heavy armor made it necessary to carry out a series of improvements to the structure of the base airframe, reinforcement, and reinforcement of the power frame of the fuselage. The Garmata NS-37 made it possible to significantly increase the distance from the fire, without changing the level of hostility of the enemy aircraft. Firing fragmentation projectiles made it possible to defeat enemy aircraft at ranges of up to 1200 meters. The Garmata could also engage ground-based armored targets. This armor-piercing projectile could pierce armor up to 30 mm thick, which made it possible to successfully use the aircraft to fight tanks. The additional armored Yak-9T contains a large-caliber UBS machine gun with 200 rounds of ammunition. The pilots achieved great popularity and a low rating among the pilots. From
