The Yak-9T fighter was one of the modifications of the Yak-9 aircraft. Its main feature was the NS-37 automatic cannon with a caliber of 37 mm. allowed to significantly increase the opening distance of fire, without reducing the likelihood of Impression of the enemy aircraft. Firing shells with fragmentation equipment made it possible to hit enemy aircraft at a distance of up to 1200 meters. The Yak-9T had a large-caliber UBS machine gun with 200 rounds of ammunition as auxiliary weapons. The aircraft were very popular and were highly rated by pilots.
