The MiG-21 F-13 was very similar to the previous version. It had a wider and lower keel and a different canopy. Weapons have also changed. The left NR-30 cannon was removed (there was only an aerodynamic fairing) and the aircraft carried two underwing pylons with K-13 launch rails.
