Trumpeter 02267 1/32 Scale A-4F Skyhawk Kit.

The kit includes:
19 seniors with details
rubber tires
photoetching
decal,
scheme for painting the model,
step by step instructions.

Model length: 411 mm. Wingspan: 261 mm

The A-4 Skyhawk was developed by Douglas in response to the US Navy's requirement for a jet attack aircraft to replace the older A-1 Skyraider. Douglas chose a design that would minimize its size, weight and complexity. The result was an aircraft that weighed only half the weight of the Navy. It had such a compact wing that it did not need to be folded for storage in the trunk.
A-4F, an improved A-4E with additional avionics located in a hump on the fuselage spine (a feature later retrofitted to the A-4E and some A-4Cs) and a more powerful J52-P-8A engine with 9,300 lbf (41 kN) thrust, later upgraded in service to J52-P-408 with 11,200 lbf (50 kN), 147 built. Some served on the Blue Angels aerobatic team from 1973 to 1986
