Design features and purpose
Protection against contamination: The part is installed directly under the working area. Its main task is to catch excess liquid photopolymer resin that flows from the printing platform (Build Plate) or tank (Vat) during the removal of the finished model or printer maintenance.
Shape and ergonomics: The tray has a specific U-shaped geometry with thickened sides. The shape exactly repeats the contours of the front part of the printer body around the resin bath.
Fastening and fixation: There are grooves-slots along the edges of the "ears" (at the upper points). They are designed to fix the tray under the mounting screws of the resin bath. This allows you to quickly install and remove the accessory by slightly loosening the screws, without the need to completely unscrew them.
