The 1C91 SURN machine included two radar stations - the 1C11 target detection and distribution radar and the 1C31 continuous illuminator, as well as the IFF interrogator and the optical channel.
Although the 1C31 antenna was mounted on the top of the superstructure and the 1C11 on the bottom, they could deploy independently. To reduce the height of the car, the central cylinder could hide inside the tractor.
The radar detection range is reported to be 50 km for a Phantom II type target. The total mass of the 1S91 vehicle with a crew of 4 was 20.3 tons, and the 2P25 vehicle with 3 missiles and a crew of 3 was 19.5 tons.
